Very nice post. Thanks. It is interesting how differently people can serve the Body of Christ. Benedict lacks the force of personality and charisma of Cash; and Cash lacks Benedict’s subtlety. But both are reminding us of what it means to be Christian and fully human.

I love how he can take even songs not about God and make them sound like a prayer. Example: his covers of “hurt” and “in my life”.

That was a lovely read. I’m an Eastern Orthodox Christian fan of Johnny Cash, and he speaks to me in the same way.
